Frequently asked questions

Is this QR code generator really free, with no sign-up?
Yes. Static QR codes created here are free, have no watermark, no scan limit and never expire, because the data is stored inside the QR pattern itself. You do not need an account to generate, style or download them.
Does it work with phone numbers from Iraq?
Yes. Type a number the way you normally write it, for example 0750 123 4567, or in international format such as +964…, and it is converted to the correct international format for WhatsApp, call, SMS and vCard QR codes. Numbers from other countries work too when you start with + or 00.
Can I make a WhatsApp QR code for my business in Iraq?
Yes. Choose WhatsApp, enter your business number and an optional pre-filled message. The QR code opens a WhatsApp chat with your number when scanned, which suits shop windows, menus, delivery bags and brochures.
Does it support Arabic text?
Yes. Text, vCard names, WiFi names and the text under the code can all be written in Arabic. You can also open this page in Arabic with the language link at the top.
Can I add my logo and brand colours?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG or SVG logo, choose foreground and background colours or a two-colour gradient, and pick square, rounded or dot modules. When a logo is used the tool switches to the highest error-correction level so the code stays scannable.
Which file formats can I download?
You can download PNG in 512, 1024 or 2048 pixel widths for print and SVG for unlimited scaling on signage, menus and packaging.
What is the difference between static and dynamic QR codes?
A static QR code encodes the content directly, so it cannot be edited or tracked. A dynamic QR code points to a short redirect link that you can change later and that records scans by time, location and device. Dynamic codes need a free account on Dubai QR Code Generator.
Is my data stored?
No. The text you enter is only used to calculate the QR pattern for your request and is not saved to a database. Your logo never leaves your browser.
What size should I print my QR code?
For business cards and menus keep the code at least 2 x 2 cm. For posters and shop windows, allow roughly 1 cm of QR width for every 10 cm of scanning distance. Always keep a clear margin around the code, use dark modules on a light background, and test with two phones before printing.
